STAKEHOLDERS ROUNDTABLES

On 25 th of June a massive round table was dedicated to discuss the "Methodology of inclusive Education in schools and related trainings". More than 125 school directors and teachers, administrative staff; social and public employees, university´s vice-rectors, etc. were present and lead by the Minister of Youth and Education of the Republic of Moldova. The Vice-Ministers of the Social Protection Ministry and the Health Ministry participated also in this event.

Mr. Leonid Bujor´s – the Minister of Youth and Education of the Republic of Moldova - speech for the opening of the round table concerned on such important issues as Moldova´s needs for International Integration and Inclusive Education development.

The European representative and coordinator of the Project from the University of Alicante - Mr. Luis Ramos Gutierrez- intervened with a speech on Spain´s experience and knowledge in Inclusive Education. Mr Ramos specified the real opportunity for Moldova´s Education implementing the MOLDINCLUD Project in partnership with some of the best experienced Universities from Europe in this field: Alicante University, Karlsruhe University, Geneva University and Royal Institute of Technology from Sweden.

Mr. Simion Caisin – the Rector of the State Continuing Education Institute and Project manager from Moldova, explained the Objectives, Outcomes and Outputs of the Project.

After a brief coffee break all the participants were invited to discuss and present their personal achievements and knowledge about the Inclusive Education, bringing real life examples from their own schools and experience. All schools directors and teachers were invited to present the letter of intention to participate in the Project. 80% of the participants presented these letters with statistical data and the necessity to train and retrain the academic staff in order to face the needs of the kids with special needs in General Education Schools.
